The Larder Restaurant is centrally located in the heart of the city of London, they specialise in modern British cuisine, which is served in a stylish yet relaxed and friendly setting. The Chef owner, Nick Male, is proud of the restaurant and the fact that they source all their own ingredients from some of the best suppliers that Britain has to offer. After working 20 years of working as a chef in Yorkshire and Sydney Australia and then latterly as an executive chef for Conran restaurants, Nick decided to open his own restaurant in Clerkenwell, London with his wife, Louise.

The Larder is now in it's forth year of trading in the historic building on St. Johns Street, which was built in 1897 for grocers Lovell and Christmas. Throughout the restaurant, bakery, shop and bar the staff aim to provide great food and drink in comfortable surroundings with friendly service. Nick and his team prepare dishes using meat from neighbouring Smithfield Market, sustainable fish delivered within hours of being caught off the Norfolk and South Eastern coast and vegetables which are grown on Secretts Farm in Surrey for the monthly Modern British menu accompanied by other daily specials they have on offer.
