taketwo embarked on a London Urban Adventure of the East End with the help of Intrepid London Urban Adventures. We began at the Old Street tube station, we journeyed through the financial City and then on to the creative hub of London. On the way we discovered many fantastic sights, including the world famous Moorfields Eye Hospital where the elusive graffiti artist Banksy made his name by leaving his mark everywhere. We saw where celebrity chef Jamie Oliver set up his "social" restaurant, and took a stroll along the tranquil Regent's canal.

On the East End Tour travellers can see the studios where Alfred Hitchcock started his career, and enjoy one of East London's best parks. You can hunt for a bargain in a real East London market, before stopping off for some traditional pie and mash. See where Guy Fawkes' gunpowder plot was foiled, and the gallery where Damian Hirst made his name. Visit one of the few Circus schools in London, all along the way scouring for more contemporary street art (there is a lot!). Drop into a church that has now been converted into an amazing reclamation yard, and see offices converted from old London Underground carriages.

Uncover the historic Spitalfields conservation area full of stunning Georgian Terraces, home to such artists as Tracey Emin and Gilbert & George and browse the boutiques of Spitalfields market, passing the Ten Bells pub where several victims of Jack the Ripper had their final drink. Customers can experience all the sights, smells and sounds of the multi-cultural Brick Lane and see a Huguenot church that was once a Synagogue and is now a mosque. Travel past the famous Curry houses of Banglatown, then finishing at the fashionable Truman brewery where you can grab a lunch from many stalls or enjoy a meal on the old London bus in the courtyard.

On the East End Uncovered Tour, Pie and Mash at F Cooke's is included, however because of the nature of the Urban Adventure you could be jumping on a London bus or travelling like a true Londoner on the tube, so remember to bring your OysterCard or a London TravelCard Zone 1-2 with you. There are many different tours to embark on, each different Urban Adventure costs £25, however you only pay for one when you taketwo with the taketwo 2 for 1 London voucher and guidebook. Go to our website: http://www.taketwobooks.com to order now.
